Biography: The X-Treme X-Men is a team created by Storm to find
the diaries of the late Destiny. Destiny was a mutant who had the ability to see the future.

Psylocke was one of the best fighters on the team. When she and Beast were separated from

their teammates, they encountered Vargas! Rogue soon joined the battle. She was Vargas's main target. Fortunately
for Rogue, Psylocke caught Vargas's attention. Beast and Rogue were thrown away from Vargas.
| Psylocke, knowing that she was her friends only hope, stood tall and introduced herself to Vargas
threatening to defeat him. It was her moment of truth. Psylocke leapt towards Vargas with her telekinetic katana
held up high. Sadly, Vargas was too quick and stabbed Psylocke in the stomach brutally killing her. |

Soon after, the remaining members of the X-Treme X-Men arrived. Vargas fled the
scene saying "Psylocke was the first. She will not be the last!"
So, Psylocke is a martyr...or, "martyress"... because she risked her life while trying to protect her
friends. Sadly, she did not have what it took to defeat Vargas and she was murdered. However, her spirit remained
long enough on the mortal plane to provide Bishop with information as to the mission during a "Dreamtime."
Soon after, she crossed-over to the afterlife.
