Bio: Wolverine was in the battle to help save Jean Grey's life at an alternate version of the Trial of Phoenix. Before the trial, Wolverine encountered (what he believed to be his good friend from his reality) Mimic on the Shi'ar ship. He asked what Mimic was doing there with the X-Men, and Mimic immediately attacked Wolverine. Mimic knew that Wolverine would never agree to what the Exiles had to do-- which was to destroy Jean Grey. Since Mimic attacked Wolverine, the small talk was over. Mimic won the battle. Later, during the Trial of Phoenix, Wolverine and the X-Men turned on Jean when she disinegrated Ororo Munroe and murdered Scott Summers. The dark part of Jean Grey took over and the X-Men, Exiles and the Shi'ar Empire were forced to join as one to defeat her. The Exiles and some Shi'ar Empire members were the only ones that survived. The X-Men, including Wolverine, and the Dark Phoenix had died.
